Sarvaveda (सर्ववेद) refers to “all Vedic passages”, according to the Śivapurāṇa 2.4.12 (“The story of Śiva and Pārvatī”).—Accordingly, as the Gods eulogized Śiva: “[...] You are Sumeru among mountains, you are the moon among the stars. You are Vasiṣṭha among the sages and you are Indra among the gods. You are Oṃkāra among all Vedic passages (sarvaveda); O great lord, be our protector. For the benefit of the worlds you nourish the Beings. [...]”.
