Source: De Gruyter: A Buddhist Ritual Manual on AgricultureSarvasvajana (सर्वस्वजन) refers to “all of one’s kinsmen”, according to the Vajratuṇḍasamayakalparāja, an ancient Buddhist ritual manual on agriculture from the 5th-century (or earlier), containing various instructions for the Sangha to provide agriculture-related services to laypeople including rain-making, weather control and crop protection.—Accordingly, [as the Bhagavān teaches the offering of the root spell], “[...] When 1,008 recitations have been made, all great Nāga kings are subdued. They will always appear. They will always provide all that is wished for. They accomplish everything in detail. All retinues of kinsmen (sarvasvajana-parivāra) with children and grandchildren are subdued. They do everything that is desired. They guard him as if it were their own home”.
