Sarpadalogrāma or simply Sarpadalo is the name of an ancient city mentioned in the “Alarpur of Narasiṃha II” (1294 A. D.). The fourth plot of the land granted comprised Sarpadalogrāma in the same Śāilo vishaya. It was bounded in the north by the gambhīra-vila-veṇā (a piece of very low land covered by the veṇā grass) of Golādalogrāma and in the south the southern dyke of the tank of or at Jayagaṅga. Its western boundary was the locality called Malisāhāra-Tālapadīā in the village of Golādalo and the eastern limit was the maṇḍapa belonging to one Śrīdhara Viśvāla lying to the west of Rādgalapura (or Rāṅgaº?).

These copper plate (mentioning Sarpadalogrāma) were found while digging the foundation for a house in the village Alalpur. The grant was made by king Narasiṃha II in february 1294 A.D. It's object was to increase the king’s longevity, health, wealth and majesty.
