Sārāparādhau (सारापराधौ).—m. du. the ability (of a criminal to suffer) and the nature of crime; the greatness of the crime; सारापराधौ चालोक्य दण्डं दण्ड्येषु पातयेत् (sārāparādhau cālokya daṇḍaṃ daṇḍyeṣu pātayet) Manusmṛti 8. 126; cf. 9.262.
