Sāptamika (साप्तमिक).—Prescribed in the seventh chapter or Adhyaya of the Astadhyayi; cf. साप्तमिक आर्धधातुकस्येडिति पुनरयं भवति । (sāptamika ārdhadhātukasyeḍiti punarayaṃ bhavati |) M.Bh. on P.VI.4.62, साप्तमिके पूर्वसर्वर्णे कृते पुनः षाष्ठिको भविष्यति । (sāptamike pūrvasarvarṇe kṛte punaḥ ṣāṣṭhiko bhaviṣyati |) M.Bh. on P.VI.1.70.
