三菩提 [san pu ti]—Sambodhi — [Term] Saṃbodhi, also written as 糝帽地 [san mao de] (Sānmàodì). It is translated as Perfect Enlightenment (正等覺 [zheng deng jue]). Xilin Yinyi (希麟音義四 [xi lin yin yi si]), Volume 4, states: "糝帽地 [san mao de] (Sānmàodì), formerly called Sambodhi, means Perfect Enlightenment (正等覺 [zheng deng jue]) here."
