三明經 [san ming jing]—Sānmíng jīng — [Sutra Name] There were Brahmins (婆羅門 [po luo men]) who, proficient in the three Vedas (三部異典 [san bu yi dian]), sought rebirth in Brahma's Heaven (梵天 [fan tian]), and were called "Triple Knowledge Brahmins" (三明婆羅門 [san ming po luo men]). The Buddha, for two disciples of a Triple Knowledge Brahmin, refuted the falsehood of the Brahma-path (梵道 [fan dao]) taught by the Triple Knowledge, and expounded the true Brahma-path. It is included in Dirgha Agama (長阿含 [zhang a han]) 16. Pali: Tevijjā.
三明經—【經名】有婆羅門,通達三部異典,求生於梵天,稱為三明婆羅門。佛為三明婆羅門二弟子破三明所說梵道之虛妄,說真實之梵道。攝於長阿含十六。巴 Tevijjā。
