Source: archive.org: Shiva Purana - English TranslationSaṃvījyamāna (संवीज्यमान) refers to “being fanned (with chowries)”, according to the Śivapurāṇa 2.4.7 (“Commencement of the War”).—Accordingly, as Brahmā narrated to Nārada: “[...] Leaving the elephant to lord Indra, Kumāra got in an aerial chariot of wonderful build and studded with different sets of gems. Seated in the aerial chariot, the son of Śiva endowed with good qualities and of great renown shone with great splendour. He was being fanned (saṃvījyamāna) with lustrous chowries. [...]”.
