Saṃvibhaj (संविभज्).—1 U.

1) To separate, divide.

2) To distribute, share with; स्निग्धजनसंविभक्तं हि दुःखं सह्यवेदनं भवति (snigdhajanasaṃvibhaktaṃ hi duḥkhaṃ sahyavedanaṃ bhavati) Ś.4.

3) To share in common, admit (one) to a share; वित्तं यदा यस्य च संविभक्तम् (vittaṃ yadā yasya ca saṃvibhaktam) Subhāṣ; भेजे दमं संविबभाज साधून् (bheje damaṃ saṃvibabhāja sādhūn) Bu. Ch.2.33.

4) To bestow upon, give to.
