Samudghāṭin (समुद्घाटिन्).—(-samudghāṭin) (see prec.), remover (of), liberator (from): in Vimati-°ṭin, Saddharmapuṇḍarīka 19.4 (no v.l. in KN; but WT °ghātī with their ms. Ḱ, and so [Boehtlingk and Roth] cites the word, with Burnouf and Kern); compare (vimati-)samudghaṭita.
