Saṃprativedhaka (संप्रतिवेधक).—f. °kī, °ikā, °ikī (to Pali saṃ-paṭivijjhati plus -aka, compare Pali °vedha), penetrating; only in caturāryasatya-saṃpra°, cātur°, epithet of dharmadeśanā: °akī Divyāvadāna 48.13; 52.23; 71.24; 75.24; 166.14; 310.27; °ikā Divyāvadāna 199.2; 554.19; °ikī Divyāvadāna 128.22 (v.l. °akī); 198.4; 462.10; 463.19; 580.12 (here satya is accidentally omitted in text); 617.3; Avadāna-śataka i.64.13; 80.2, etc. (only this form seems to be noted in Avadāna-śataka); Mūla-Sarvāstivāda-Vinaya i.54.3 (cātur°), etc.
