1) To fluctuate, float about; दृष्टे जने प्रेयसि दुःसहान स्रोतःसहस्रैरिव संप्लवन्तै (dṛṣṭe jane preyasi duḥsahāna srotaḥsahasrairiva saṃplavantai) Uttararāmacarita 4.8.
2) To flow together, meet (as waters); यावानर्थ उदपाने सर्वतः संप्लुतोदके (yāvānartha udapāne sarvataḥ saṃplutodake) Bhagavadgītā (Bombay) 2.46. -Caus. To inundate, flood over, submerge, deluge.
