Sammānya (सम्मान्य) refers to “having honoured (everyone)” [?], according to the Śivapurāṇa 2.3.30 (“The Celebration of Pārvatī’s Return”).—Accordingly, as Brahmā narrated to Nārada: “On hearing that Pārvatī was returning, Menā and Himavat excessively delighted went ahead seated in a divine vehicle. [...] The lord of the mountains gave monetary gifts to brahmins and lords. He made the brahmins recite auspicious hymns, as part of the festivities. The parents delighted with their daughter; the brothers and the sisters gathered joyfully in the courtyard (prāṅgaṇa), O sage. The happy and delighted Himavat, honoured everyone (sammānya). Then he went to the Gaṅgā for his bath. [...]”.
