Saṃkhyāta (संख्यात).—p. p.

1) Enumerated.

2) Calculated, reckoned up.

-tam A number.

-tā A kind of riddle; संख्याता नाम संख्यानं यत्र व्यामोहकारणम् (saṃkhyātā nāma saṃkhyānaṃ yatra vyāmohakāraṇam) Kāv.3.11.

(= Pali theyya-saṃkhātaṃ = theyyacitto avahara- ṇacitto Vin. iii.46.34), with intent to steal: (yā punar bhikṣuṇī…) pareṣām adattaṃ steye saṃkhyātaṃ (printed as two words) ādadīta Bhikṣuṇī-karmavācanā 25a.2—3; steye °taḥ (as two words, so also Mironov) Mahāvyutpatti 5352 = Tibetan rku bar bgraṅ ba, rendered by [Tibetan-English Dictionary] steyasaṃkhyātam, to count as stealing.
