Source: WorldCat: Rāj nighaṇṭuSai-dat in the Vietnamese language is another name for (the yellow variety of) Mārkava, a medicinal plant identified with Wedelia calendulacea Less. which is a synonym of Sphagneticola calendulacea from the Asteraceae or “aster” family of flowering plants, according to verse 4.138-141 of the 13th-century Raj Nighantu or Rājanighaṇṭu. The fourth chapter (śatāhvādi-varga) of this book enumerates eighty varieties of small plants (pṛthu-kṣupa). Other than the Vietnamese word Sai-dat, there are more synonyms identified for this plant among which twenty are in Sanskrit.
