Sādhuguṇa (साधुगुण) or “Cauda nāṃma jatī nī sajjhāya” is the name of a work dealing with the Āvaśyaka section of Jain Canonical literature.—The Sādhuguṇais included in the collection of manuscripts at the ‘Vincenzo Joppi’ library, collected by Luigi Pio Tessitori during his visit to Rajasthan between 1914 and 1919.—The Sādhuguṇa deals with the moral qualities of Jain monks, who, therefore, have to be paid homage. hence it belongs to the category ‘praise of monastic qualities (rules)’ or ‘homage to monastic qualities’. This manuscript, like the two London manuscripts, has no author’s name.
