The three wise men, according to popular estimation, were sakhārāma bāpū, viṭhala sundara, and viṭhala dēvājī or dēvājī panta (familiarly, sakhyā, vidyā, dēvyā), the half-wise man was the renowned nānāphaḍanavīsa) A term for a wiseacre or pretentious personage.
