Sadāraṃga (सदारंग) was the teacher of Jīvaṇa, the copyist of a manuscript of the Ghaṇṭākarṇamahāvīrastotra (dealing with early teachers, Gods or Goddesses), which is included in the collection of manuscripts at the ‘Vincenzo Joppi’ library, collected by Luigi Pio Tessitori during his visit to Rajasthan between 1914 and 1919.—The reader for whom the manuscript was copied is a female lay-follower named Sūjī. the copyist was a monk, named Jīvaṇa, pupil of a monk named Sadāraṃga, to whom homage is paid at the beginning of the manuscript. The format of the names of the monks suggests that they belonged to the Sthānakavāsin monastic order.
