Rukmapārijātavana (रुक्मपारिजातवन).—In Gayā where Śankara sported with Pārvatī and to which Marīci went to gather fruits and flowers; interrupted in his enjoyment Śiva cursed him, but the latter praised him in prayer; Śiva promised him release from the curse if he would visit Gayā; the blackman became changed into white colour.*
