Rough Hair is traditionally used in crafting Hard Cement, which was used as a Material for the Construction of Temples and other buildings, according to the Viṣṇudharmottarapurāṇa, an ancient Sanskrit text which (being encyclopedic in nature) deals with a variety of cultural topics such as arts, architecture, music, grammar and astronomy.—The last process i.e., fifth procedure of making vajralepa refers to its beginning with the baking process of lime and thereafter the moistened lime should be mixed with the skin and milk of cows and rough hair.
