rōmarakṣā (रोमरक्षा).—f pl & rōmarakṣāvyatīpāta m (Ashes of hair.) Phrases used in affirming the utter unprofitableness of any business or act. Ex. tyācē kāṃ tū nādāsa lāgalā āhēsa tēthēṃ kāya rō0 āhēta? rōmarakṣā is sometimes used in the singular, and it corresponds with the following and many other phrases in this flowing tongue, tēthēṃ kāya dhūḷa āhē; tyālā kāya rākha samajatī; tēthēṃ kāya mātī miḷaṇāra āhē.
