Source: Sutta: The Pali Text Society's Pali-English DictionaryRittassāda refers to: finding one’s taste in empty things A. I, 280 (+bāhir-assāda. Kern, Toev. s. v. reads rittāsa and translates “impure (of food), ” not according to the sense at all).
Note: rittassāda is a Pali compound consisting of the words ritta and assāda.
Pali is the language of the Tipiṭaka, which is the sacred canon of Theravāda Buddhism and contains much of the Buddha’s speech. Closeley related to Sanskrit, both languages are used interchangeably between religions.
