人情 [rén qíng] [ren qing]—
1. Human emotions. For example: "Losing a child in old age and being overwhelmed with grief is also a common human emotion (之常 [zhi chang])." The Book of Rites - Li Yun: "What are human emotions? Joy, anger, sorrow, fear, love, hate, and desire are seven things that people can do without learning."
2. Common human feelings, worldly wisdom. Zhuangzi - Xiaoyao You: "There is a great difference, it is not close to human feelings at all." Dream of the Red Chamber, Chapter 5: "Understanding worldly affairs is all knowledge, and being experienced in human relationships is writing."
3. Friendship, personal consideration. Journey to the West, Chapter 25: "He is also the master's old friend, spare him, it is also the master's favor." Dream of the Red Chamber, Chapter 55: "Your master is really clever, asking me to set a precedent, he will be a good person, happily doing favors with the money that the Madam doesn't care about."

5.禮物。《水滸傳》第一四回:「他便送些人情與這都頭,你卻來討了。」《通俗編.儀節》:「以禮物相遺曰送人情。」
6.交際往來。指婚喪慶弔等禮節應酬。元.關漢卿《魯齋郎》第三折:「父親母親人情去了,這早晚敢待來也。」

4. rén mín de shēng huó,, qíng gǎn yì yuàn,, fēng sú xí shàng děng zhuàng kuàng. táng. dù mù 〈táng gù fàn yáng lú xiù cái mù zhì〉: “yīn yán yàn zhào jiān shān chuān yí xiǎn, jiào lìng fēng sú rén qíng zhī suǒ duǎn zhǎng, sān shí nián lái wáng shī gōng jī, lì yǔ bù lì, qí suǒ lái yóu.” < ér nǚ yīng xióng chuán> dì yī sì huí: “yòu wèn le wèn chǔ yī guān zǒu guò jǐ shěng, shuō le nà xiē de fēng tǔ rén qíng, lùn le xiē nà shěng de shān chuān xíng shèng.”
5. lǐ wù. < shuǐ hǔ chuán> dì yī sì huí: “tā biàn sòng xiē rén qíng yǔ zhè dōu tóu, nǐ què lái tǎo le.” < tōng sú biān. yí jié>: “yǐ lǐ wù xiāng yí yuē sòng rén qíng.”
6. jiāo jì wǎng lái. zhǐ hūn sàng qìng diào děng lǐ jié yīng chóu. yuán. guān hàn qīng < lǔ zhāi láng> dì sān zhé: “fù qīn mǔ qīn rén qíng qù le, zhè zǎo wǎn gǎn dài lái yě.”
