Rasyathipathi (“planet in the zodiacal sign”) refers to a factor taken into consideration, by consulting an astrologer, before marriage among the Agamudaiyans (a cultivating case foundin all the Tamil districts).—The ruling planets of the zodiacal signs (rasi) of the pair should not be enemies.
