rāṇīrāūta (राणीराऊत).—m rāṇīrāutāṇī or -rāvatāṇī f (The queen and the trooper, or the Raja's wife and the trooper's wife; or, as rāutāṇī is probably but a form of reduplication in enhancement of rāṇī, queens and princesses, queens &c.) Used in phrases such as rāṇī rāvatāṇī tyācyā gharīṃ pāṇī bharatī; hā rāṇīrāvatāṇī bhīta nāhīṃ khātarēnta āṇīta nāhīṃ &c.; descriptively expressing Opulence, grandeur, dauntlessness, or audaciousness.
