The verb is both causal of raṅgaṇēṃ and simply active from raṅga. 2 fig. To slap or smack so as to make red. Generally used with a fem. noun understood; as tyācē tōṇḍānta dōna raṅgavilyā mhaṇajē kabūla yēīla.
