raṅgamūrtti (रंगमूर्त्ति).—f A poetical and adulatory name for a person whose presence (at a concert, dance, katha) is considered as casting splendor, spirit, brilliance &c. around upon the performance and he people. 2 A common term for the figures (of copper or brass) showing the infant kṛṣṇa in various postures or attitudes.
