Source: Wikisource: A dictionary of Sanskrit grammarRāmacandrabhaṭṭatāre (रामचन्द्रभट्टतारे).—One of the senior pupils of Nagesabhatta who was a teacher of Vaidyanatha Payagunde. He wrote a small gloss on the Astadhyayi which is named पाणिनिसूत्रवृत्ति (pāṇinisūtravṛtti) He lived in the first half of the eighteenth century and taught several pupils at Varanasi.
Vyakarana (व्याकरण, vyākaraṇa) refers to Sanskrit grammar and represents one of the six additional sciences (vedanga) to be studied along with the Vedas. Vyakarana concerns itself with the rules of Sanskrit grammar and linguistic analysis in order to establish the correct context of words and sentences.
