Source: Sutta: The Pali Text Society's Pali-English DictionaryRāgānusaya refers to: latent bias of passion (for=Dat.) S. IV, 205 (the 3 anusayas: rāga°, paṭigha°, avijjā°); It. 80 (yo subhāya dhātuyā rāgo so padūyati).
Note: rāgānusaya is a Pali compound consisting of the words rāga and anusaya.
Pali is the language of the Tipiṭaka, which is the sacred canon of Theravāda Buddhism and contains much of the Buddha’s speech. Closeley related to Sanskrit, both languages are used interchangeably between religions.
