Chinese Buddhism (漢傳佛教, hanchuan fojiao) is the form of Buddhism that developed in China, blending Mahayana teachings with Daoist and Confucian thought. Its texts are mainly in Classical Chinese, based on translations from Sanskrit. Major schools include Chan (Zen), Pure Land, Tiantai, and Huayan. 鵲巢 [què cháo] [que chao]—
The title of a chapter from "Shijing (The Classic of Poetry) - Zhaonan (召南 [zhao nan])". It consists of three stanzas. According to "Mao Shi Xu (Great Preface to the Classic of Poetry) - 詩序 [shi xu]", it states: "Que Chao [Magpie's Nest], it is about the virtue of a lady (夫人 [fu ren])." Or it may also refer to a poem blessing a daughter's marriage. The first two lines of the first stanza are: "The magpie (鵲 [que]) has a nest, the dove (鳩 [jiu]) lives in it."
鵲巢:《詩經.召南》的篇名。共三章。根據〈詩序〉:「鵲巢,夫人之德也。」或亦指祝嫁女之詩。首章二句為:「維鵲有巢,維鳩居之。」
què cháo: < shī jīng. zhào nán> de piān míng. gòng sān zhāng. gēn jù 〈shī xù〉: “què cháo, fū rén zhī dé yě.” huò yì zhǐ zhù jià nǚ zhī shī. shǒu zhāng èr jù wèi: “wéi què yǒu cháo, wéi jiū jū zhī.”
