扦子手 [qiān zi shǒu] [qian zi shou]—
Personnel at a 關口 [guan kou] (guānkǒu) holding an 鐵扦 [tie qian] (tiěqiān) to inspect 貨物 [huo wu] (huòwù). From Chapter 15 of A Brief History of Civilization (《文明小史 [wen ming xiao shi]》): "He led several (qiānzishǒu) onto the ship to inspect the passengers' 行李 [xing li] (xíngli)." Also known as 扦手 [qian shou] (qiānshǒu).
扦子手：在關口持鐵扦檢查貨物的人員。《文明小史》第一五回：「帶領了幾個扦子手走上船來，點驗客人的行李。」也稱為「扦手」。
qiān zi shǒu: zài guān kǒu chí tiě qiān jiǎn chá huò wù de rén yuán. < wén míng xiǎo shǐ> dì yī wǔ huí: “dài lǐng le jǐ gè qiān zi shǒu zǒu shàng chuán lái, diǎn yàn kè rén de xíng lǐ.” yě chēng wèi “qiān shǒu” .
