七真如 [qi zhen ru]—Seven Kinds of Tathata—[Terminology]
1. Transmigratory Tathata (流轉真如 [liu zhuan zhen ru]): Refers to the true nature (實性 [shi xing]) of conditioned phenomena (有為法 [you wei fa]) in transmigration (流轉 [liu zhuan]).
2. Reality-aspect Tathata (實相真如 [shi xiang zhen ru]): Refers to the true nature (實性 [shi xing]) manifested through the two kinds of egolessness (二無我 [er wu wo]).
3. Vijnaptimatrata Tathata (唯識真如 [wei shi zhen ru]): Refers to the Vijnaptimatrata true nature (唯識實性 [wei shi shi xing]) of defiled and pure phenomena (染淨法 [ran jing fa]).
4. Established Tathata (安立真如 [an li zhen ru]): Refers to the true nature (實性 [shi xing]) of the truth of suffering (苦諦 [ku di]).
5. Wrong-conduct Tathata (邪行真如 [xie xing zhen ru]): Refers to the true nature (實性 [shi xing]) of the truth of the origin of suffering (集諦 [ji di]).
6. Pure Tathata (清淨真如 [qing jing zhen ru]): Refers to the true nature (實性 [shi xing]) of the truth of cessation (滅諦 [mie di]).
7. Right-conduct Tathata (正行真如 [zheng xing zhen ru]): Refers to the true nature (實性 [shi xing]) of the truth of the path (道諦 [dao di]).

The three Tathatas of Transmigratory (流轉 [liu zhuan]), Established (安立 [an li]), and Wrong-conduct (邪行 [xie xing]) are not applicable to Buddhas (佛 [fu]). Furthermore, the three Tathatas of Reality-aspect (實相 [shi xiang]), Vijnaptimatrata (唯識 [wei shi]), and Pure (清淨 [qing jing]) are the objects (境 [jing]) of fundamental wisdom (根本智 [gen ben zhi]), while the remaining four are the objects (境 [jing]) of acquired wisdom (後得智 [hou de zhi]). These seven are spoken of from the perspective of exposition (詮門 [quan men]) and by explaining their meanings (義說 [yi shuo]). However, if one discards the exposition (廢詮 [fei quan]) and discusses the essence of Tathata (如之體 [ru zhi ti]), then the seven are but one Tathata (七即一如 [qi ji yi ru]). 七真如—【名數】一流轉真如,謂有為法流轉之實性也。二實相真如,謂顯於二無我之實性也。三唯識真如,謂染淨法之唯識實性也。四安立真如,謂苦諦之實性也。五邪行真如,謂集諦之實性也。六清淨真如,謂滅諦實性也。七正行真如,謂道諦之實性也。流轉安立邪行之三真如不通於佛,又實相唯識清淨之三真如為根本智之境,餘四者為後得智之境。是約於詮門以義說而說為七,若廢詮而論如之體則七即一如也。見解深密經分別瑜伽品,唯識論八。

[ming shu] yi liu zhuan zhen ru, wei you wei fa liu zhuan zhi shi xing ye. er shi xiang zhen ru, wei xian yu er wu wo zhi shi xing ye. san wei shi zhen ru, wei ran jing fa zhi wei shi shi xing ye. si an li zhen ru, wei ku di zhi shi xing ye. wu xie xing zhen ru, wei ji di zhi shi xing ye. liu qing jing zhen ru, wei mie di shi xing ye. qi zheng xing zhen ru, wei dao di zhi shi xing ye. liu zhuan an li xie xing zhi san zhen ru bu tong yu fu, you shi xiang wei shi qing jing zhi san zhen ru wei gen ben zhi zhi jing, yu si zhe wei hou de zhi zhi jing. shi yue yu quan men yi yi shuo er shuo wei qi, ruo fei quan er lun ru zhi ti ze qi ji yi ru ye. jian jie shen mi jing fen bie yu jia pin, wei shi lun ba.
