起者 [qi zhe]—(Qǐzhě) — [Term] A person who holds the view of self (我見 [wo jian]), believing that they can initiate good and bad karma (罪福 [zui fu]) themselves, is therefore called a ''. It is one of the Sixteen Gods of Self (十六神我 [shi liu shen wo]). See Chapter 6 of Dasheng Yizhang (大乘義章 [da cheng yi zhang]).
