祇園精舍頗梨鐘 [qi yuan jing she po li zhong]—The Crystal Bell of Jetavana Vihara
— [Object Name (物名 [wu ming])] Appears in the Gion Illustrated Sutra (祇園圖經 [qi yuan tu jing]). The Essentials of Rebirth (往生要集 [wang sheng yao ji]), Upper Volume, states: "At the four corners of the Impermanence Hall (無常堂 [wu chang tang]) of Gion Temple (祇園寺 [qi yuan si]), there are crystal bells (頗梨鐘 [po li zhong]). Within the sound of the bell, this verse is also recited." See the appendix to the entry for "bell" (鐘條附錄 [zhong tiao fu lu]).
