其內 [qí nèi] [qi nei]—
From 《莊子 [zhuang zi].達生 [da sheng]》 (Zhuangzi, Dàshēng): "The 豹 [bao] (leopard) nurtures its inner self, but the 虎 [hu] (tiger) devours its outer self. 毅 [yi] (Yi) nurtures his outer self, but illness attacks his inner self. These two individuals are not those who are driven by external forces."
From 《文選 [wen xuan].揚雄 [yang xiong].畋獵 [tian lie]》 (Wénxuǎn, Yáng Xióng, Tiánliè): "It is as if what the guest said is knowing one thing but not seeing the second, seeing its outside but not understanding its inside."
其內:其中。《莊子.達生》:「豹養其內,而虎食其外,毅養其外,而病攻其內,此二子者,皆不鞭其後者也。」《文選.揚雄.畋獵》:「若客所謂知其一未睹其二,見其外不識其內也。」

氣餒 [qì něi] [qi nei]—
To lose the will to fight (鬥志 [dou zhi]), courage (勇氣 [yong qi]), and confidence (信心 [xin xin]). From Act One (第一齣 [di yi chu]) of The Story of Red Whisk (紅拂記 [hong fu ji]) by Ling Mengchu (凌濛初 [ling meng chu]) of the Ming Dynasty (明 [ming]): "I see him as child's play (兒戲 [er xi]); you, a good man (好男兒 [hao nan er]), should not be discouraged."
氣餒:喪失鬥志,失去勇氣和信心。明.凌濛初《紅拂記》第一齣:「俺覷得他如兒戲,你好男兒休氣餒。」
qì něi: sàng shī dòu zhì, shī qù yǒng qì hé xìn xīn. míng. líng méng chū < hóng fú jì> dì yī chū: “ǎn qù dé tā rú ér xì, nǐ hǎo nán ér xiū qì něi.”
qi nei: sang shi dou zhi, shi qu yong qi he xin xin. ming. ling meng chu < hong fu ji> di yi chu: "an qu de ta ru er xi, ni hao nan er xiu qi nei."
