七佛八菩薩 [qi fu ba pu sa]—Seven Buddhas and Eight Bodhisattvas — [List of Names] The Seven Buddhas (七佛 [qi fu]) are: Vipassī Buddha (維衛佛 [wei wei fu]), Sikhī Buddha (式佛 [shi fu]), Vessabhū Buddha (隨棄佛 [sui qi fu]), Kakusandha Buddha (拘留秦佛 [ju liu qin fu]), Koṇāgamana Buddha (拘那含牟尼佛 [ju na han mou ni fu]), Kassapa Buddha (迦葉佛 [jia ye fu]), and Śākyamuni Buddha (釋迦牟尼佛 [shi jia mou ni fu]).
