Pūnyekalasa (पून्येकलस) is another name for Punyakalasa, the teacher of Jaitasī: the author of the Dasagīta (dealing with the Mūlasūtra section of Jain Canonical literature) (in Gujarati), and is included in the collection of manuscripts at the ‘Vincenzo Joppi’ library, collected by Luigi Pio Tessitori during his visit to Rajasthan between 1914 and 1919.—In the final stanza of each chapter, the author introduces himself as Jetasī (var. Jaitasī), disciple of Punyakalasa (variant spellings: Pūnekalasa, Pūnyekalasa; Sanskrit form Puṇyakalaśa). [...]
