Pṛthvītīrtha (पृथ्वीतीर्थ).—A sacred pond on the borders of Kurukṣetra. He who bathes in this pond would get the benefit of doing a sahasragodāna (giving away as gift a thousand cows). (Śloka 13, Chapter 83, Vana Parva).
