Pravayaṇa (प्रवयण).—

1) The upper part of a piece of woven cloth.

2) A goad, a whip; स्वयमादित प्रवयणं प्रजापतिः (svayamādita pravayaṇaṃ prajāpatiḥ) Śiśupālavadha 13.19.
