Pratyutpannādhvan (प्रत्युत्पन्नाध्वन्) or simply Pratyutpanna refers to the “present time” and represents one of the “three times” (adhvan) as defined in the Dharma-saṃgraha (section 86). The Dharma-samgraha (Dharmasangraha) is an extensive glossary of Buddhist technical terms in Sanskrit (e.g., pratyutpanna-adhvan). The work is attributed to Nagarjuna who lived around the 2nd century A.D.
