Source: archive.org: Catalogue of Pancaratra Agama TextsPratiṣṭhāsnapanavidhi (प्रतिष्ठास्नपनविधि) (lit. “concerning the bathing ceremonies daring consecration rites”) is the name of chapter 18 of the Puruṣottamasaṃhitā: a Pāñcarātra text consisting of more than 1800 verses devoted to temple-building and the practical concerns of the Pāñcarātra priestly community.—Description of the chapter [pratiṣṭhāsnapanavidhi]: At the yāgamaṇḍapa the netronmīlana-rites are (again) done (1), whereupon the Ācāry performs rakṣābandhana in preparation for the Imminent snapana (2-12a). The bathing ceremony should be done in an especially prepared maṇḍapa (12b-21) which is furnished with the proper kinds of kalaśa-pots (22-45). The method of performing the snapana step-by-step is given (46-58).
