Prasañj (प्रसञ्ज्).—1 P. To become attached to or fond of, feel affection for. -Pass.

1) To cling to or adhere to.

2) To follow, apply or be applicable, hold good in the case of (active also in this sense); इतरेतराश्रयः प्रसज्येत, वैषम्यनैर्घृण्ये नेश्वरस्य प्रसज्येते (itaretarāśrayaḥ prasajyeta, vaiṣamyanairghṛṇye neśvarasya prasajyete) Ś.B.

3) To be attached to; तस्यामसौ प्रासजत् (tasyāmasau prāsajat) Dk.

Prasañj (प्रसञ्ज्).—A. attach (one’s self) to ([locative]); hang, stick, or furnish with ([instrumental]); approach as an enemy, engage in a quarrel with ([locative]); (cause to) happen, occur, or result. [Passive] (in both forms) cling or stick to, be occupied with ([locative]).
