Source: Google Books: ManthanabhairavatantramPrāptajñāna (प्राप्तज्ञान) refers to “having received (spiritual) knowledge”, according to the Kubjikāmata-tantra, the earliest popular and most authoritative Tantra of the Kubjikā cult.—Accordingly, “(The disciple) should behave well for a period of eight, five or three years. Otherwise initiation should not be given to him (as) he (would not achieve) success in the Kula teachings. [...] The rays that come from (the teacher’s) anger will burn up the disciple who has received (spiritual) knowledge (prāptajñāna) (from his teacher and is then disrespectful towards him). [...]”.
