Pradakṣiṇagāmitā (प्रदक्षिणगामिता) or Pradakṣiṇagāmi refers to “a respectful stride” and represents the fifteenth of the “eighty secondary characteristics” (anuvyañjana) as defined in the Dharma-saṃgraha (section 83). The Dharma-samgraha (Dharmasangraha) is an extensive glossary of Buddhist technical terms in Sanskrit (e.g., pradakṣiṇa-gāmitā). The work is attributed to Nagarguna who lived around the 2nd century A.D.
