Piñcu (பிஞ்சு) noun [Telugu: pinde, Kanarese, Malayalam: piñju.]

1. Young, tender fruit; இளங்காய். (சூடாமணிநிகண்டு) [ilangay. (sudamaninigandu)]

2. That which is young and tender; இளமை யானது. மதியின்பிஞ்சைப் புரைநுதலாய் [ilamai yanathu. mathiyinpinchaip purainuthalay] (தஞ்சைவாணன் கோவை [thanchaivanan kovai] 420).
