Pr. pikalyāvāñcūna gāṃvānta vikata nāhīṃ A story void of reasonable credibility cannot obtain general credence. 2 To lose freshness, clearness, fullness, intensity--a color. 3 To be produced or borne;--used of crops. Ex. bighyāsa dāhā maṇa bhāta pikatēṃ. 4 To be full, prevalent, rife, extensively current--tidings, a report. 5 At draughts. To get into the house (i. e. middle of the board) and lie idle--a piece. 6 To be getting on prosperously; to have one's business, measures, or plans succeed. 7 To be advancing in pregnancy;--used of the pōṭa or womb.
