Piciṇḍa (पिचिण्ड).—

1) The belly; पिचण्डभाण्डे परिपूरयन्ति (picaṇḍabhāṇḍe paripūrayanti) Udb.; प्रेक्ष्य पश्चिमपयोधिपिचण्डे चण्डभानुमचिरेण मिमङ्क्षुम् (prekṣya paścimapayodhipicaṇḍe caṇḍabhānumacireṇa mimaṅkṣum) | Śāhendra 3.1; जगत्कटाहा बहवो महान्तः पिचण्डगर्भे परिमान्ति चित्रम् (jagatkaṭāhā bahavo mahāntaḥ picaṇḍagarbhe parimānti citram) Rām. Ch.1.1.
