phaṭṭayā (फट्टया) [or फट्या, phaṭyā].—& phaṭyā bāvarā a (phaṭakaṇa q.v.) Bold and heedless; utterly independent; that raps out his sentiments or opinions however offensive; that expresses his feelings or follows his impulses freely and fearlessly. 2 This word is sometimes used in the humorous application given under nastā.
