Source: DDSA: The Molesworth Marathi and English Dictionaryphāmindā (फामिंदा).—m ( P) A holder of the supremacy of dēva over prakṛti and singer of the lāvaṇī called turā. 2 A bully or boaster; a hectoring or ranting fellow; a Gascon or a Thraso: also one adept or accomplished in knavery. 3 Adept. Used without dispraise. 4 phāmindī (feminine form) is applied to a bold and masculine woman, apt at scolding and commanding.
