Perumuḍivākkām is an archaeologically important site situated in Tiruvallur-taluk (Chingleput district, Madras), known for inscriptions regarding the ancient history of India. For example, at Perumuḍivākkām there is a slab built into the east wall, Kodaṇḍarāmasvāmin temple which states that on the date specified, Rāghavāchāri and his brother’s son Raṅgasvāmi Ayyaṅgār of the family of Perumālayyaṅgār of Perumuḍivākkam completed the construction of the temple and installed therein the god Kōdaṇḍarāmasvāmin. It is dated Kali 4999 (August 30, 1897).
